Have you ever attended a boring meeting? How about a meeting that went on too long? Did you really need to be present?
Run effective meetings by asking attendees ahead of time what they believe makes an effective meeting. Those who will be attending need to know the agenda ahead of time to prepare. The meeting needs to be concise and focused. Would it be appropriate to play upbeat music as the attendees are coming in, to put them in a good mood? Does the setup of the room make a difference?
